“She turned six conflicting spreadsheets into a site our coordinators actually use” captures the work I enjoy. I interview frontline staff, map their decisions, and build accessible browser tools backed by clean, validated data flows. My role spans research plans, prototypes, interface code, API connections, migrations, and acceptance sessions. I pay special attention to empty states, permissions, mobile use, and the difference between what a process document claims and what happens under deadline pressure. The metro ride across Montreal is my regular usability lab: delayed, one-handed, and full of interruptions. I design for that reality, leaving clients with maintainable components, traceable data, and a concise guide for the next person who touches the system.
